In episode 46 Sam is joined by Michael Leader, film critic, commissioning editor of BBC InsideCinema and BBC InsideGames, and podcast host of Ghibliotheque and Truth & Movies.
Michael has chosen Anvil!The Story of Anvil (81 minutes), directed by Sacha Gervasi. The 2008 documentary follows heavy metal band Anvil - Steve "Lips" Kudlow and Robb Reiner, with talking heads from Slash, Lemmy and Lars Ulrich.
Sam and Michael discuss the history of Anvil, Sacha Gervasi's varied career and the best snack to take to a heavy metal gig.

Jonathan has chosen Wendy and Lucy (80 minutes), directed by Kelly Reichardt. The 2008 film stars Michelle Williams, Walter Dalton and Lucy the dog.

In episode 39 Sam is joined by comedian, actor, musician, director and radio presenter Nick Helm.
Nick's been performing stand up since 2007 and his television credits include a starring role in Uncle for BBC Three. Nick directed, co-wrote and starred in the BAFTA nominated short film Elephant. Nick also co-presents Nick Helm and Nathaniel Metcalf's Fan Club on FUBAR Radio.
Nick has chosen Sam Raimi's third Evil Dead film; Army Of Darkness (86 minutes). Army Of Darkness was released in 1992 and stars Bruce Campbell as franchise lead Ash Williams.
Nick and Sam talk about being nominated for a BAFTA, Nick's life long appreciation of Bruce Campbell, the many different versions of Army Of Darkness and Nick remembers exactly when his childhood ended.
