In episode 100 Sam is joined by Ali Plumb, film critic for BBC Radio 1, host of the Radio 1's Screen Time podcast, and Movies with Ali Plumb on YouTube.
Ali has chosen Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, the 2016 mockumentary from The Lonely Island. Directed by Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. The film stars Andy Samberg as Conner4Real, Taccone, and Schaffer, along with Sarah Silverman, Tim Meadows, Joan Cusack, Maya Rudolph, Paul Scheer, Chris Redd, and too many celebrity cameos to list here.
Sam and Ali celebrate the 90MinFilmFest's 100th episode by discussing the film's journey from box-office flop to cult classic, it's real-life musical inspirations, and the incredible amount of jokes and gags.

Lee has selected Robin Hardy's 1973 British folk horror, The Wicker Man (87 mins). Written by Anthony Shaffer. Starring Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland.
Lee and Sam discuss the levels of fake vomit used in Evil Dead Rise, the musicality of The Wicker Man, Christopher Lee's iconic performance in the film and just how frustrating the people on the island are for Sergeant Howie.

In episode 96 Sam is joined Lee Unkrich, director of Pixar’s Coco and Toy Story 3. Lee has co-authored a new book Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, out now from Taschen.
Lee has chosen Toy Story (81 mins), a film he worked on as an editor at Pixar. The first entirely computer-animated feature film features the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, John Ratzenberger, Annie Potts, and Laurie Metcalf.
Sam and Lee discuss the lasting appeal of Stanley Kubrick's iconic horror, how he first got a job at Pixar and just how many references to The Shining you can spot in his film work.
